On the road
This is the eight o'clock news. We're on the Brighton Road where there has been a serious accident at an early hour this morning. Two cars crashed. A car driver was killed and two people were injured. The three people were taken straight to hospital. A young girl had to be rescued from one of the cars by firemen. The car roof had to be cut to take the girl out of her seat. At this moment she is being examined. The other car overturned. Its bumper and headlights were smashed. The fire is still being extinguished. A witness was asked about the car crash and he said he thought that one of the drivers was drunk. But the real causes have not been cleared yet.This is the eleventh car accident this week. What's happening? Maybe people are not concerned about driving dangers. Perhaps the government is not giving enough warning. What we know is that today another man was killed. Will alcohol be the cause of this terrible accident? We don't know the answer yet.
