Text: Dreams

Arthur and Stuart are in a café. Waiter– Would you like anything else? Arthur– I'll have a cup of tea, thanks. Stuart– I'll have a coffee. Arthur– Do you know I'll be rich? Stuart– You always say the same. Arthur– This time it's true. Yesterday I found a lottery ticket and I'm sure this is the winning number. I'll win a lot of money. Stuart– Will you give me some? Arthur– Of course I will. I won't waste it. I'll buy a very big house. It will have a front garden with flower-beds. There will be a stone wall around the house and it will have a wooden gate. The house will have a beautiful front door and a porch. I'll hire a cook, a chauffeur, a housekeeper, and a butler. My children will have a tutor to take care of their education, and the baby will have a nurse who will look after him. I'll have at least three cars and a very big garage. I won't work any more and I'll spend all day long sunbathing. I'm sure I'll be a rich man. Stuart– When will this happen? Arthur– I don't know when the next draw is. But, what is this? Oh, God! This lottery ticket has expired. I suppose I'll have to go on working.
