Counter assistant – Good morning. May I help you? Client – Good morning. I have been sent this parcel and I'm afraid it is not for me. It encloses a leather handbag. Assistant – Are you sure it is not yours? Client – Sure. I don't know who it may belong to. Assistant – Is there the sender's address? Client – No, there isn't. Assistant – And is your address correct? Client – Yes, it is. Assistant – This parcel has been given to us by someone. We usually ask the sender to fill in a receipt. I'll look for it. Client – How long will it take? Assistant – Two or three days. Client – I have been told that some thieves send the stolen items to people they don't know. This way police have not proofs of their robbery. Assistant – This story has been explained to me many times but I don't believe it. Client – It's just a comment. I want to send this letter, too. Have you got any stamps? Assistant – No. The stamp machine is next to the notice board. First you must weigh your letter on the scales to know how much it will cost you, then buy the necessary stamps and finally introduce the letter into the right slot. Client – Thank you very much. I'll come next week to see if you have found the receipt. Assistant – OK. See you then.
